“I Paid GH₵90,000 In Shop Rent For 5 Years! Do The Calculation!” — AMG Armani Fires Fresh Shots At Ex Asantewaa
Ghanaian artiste AMG Armani has revealed details of the financial support he claims to have provided for his ex-partner, Asantewaa, amid their ongoing public fallout.
Responding to a follower who noted that rent at Borla Junction was around GH₵1,500 per month, Armani confirmed the amount and disclosed that he had paid it for five years.
“Yes, I paid GH₵1,500 for five years, so you can do the calculation,” he stated, challenging those questioning his financial contributions to consider the total amount involved.
Based on the figures he provided, GH₵1,500 monthly for five years amounts to GH₵90,000 in rent payments.
Armani also claimed that although Asantewaa acquired another shop at Adenta herself, he paid for the chairs because he was happy to support her independent business efforts.
His latest comments have added another twist to the public disagreement between the former couple, with the financial contributions he says he made now becoming part of the online discussion.

“The Moment He Raised His Hand Against Me, I Had Him Arrested!” — Nana Ama McBrown Sends Strong Warning To Abusive Partners
Ghanaian actress and media personality Nana Ama McBrown has opened up about a disturbing experience in a past relationship, urging people experiencing abuse to prioritise their healing and walk away from situations they can no longer tolerate.
Speaking on Onua Showtime, McBrown recounted how she had a man she was dating arrested after he physically assaulted her for the first time.
“That was the first time a man laid his hand on me,” she revealed.
According to McBrown, the man regretted his actions and repeatedly apologised after the assault. He later offered to escort her home in the small car she was driving at the time.
However, when they arrived at a police barrier, McBrown seized the opportunity to report him to the police.
“When we got to one of the police barriers, I quickly got down and ran to the police to arrest him because he had beaten me. Yes, I got him arrested,” she recounted.
Drawing from her experience, McBrown urged people not to tolerate abuse or wait until their situations become unbearable before taking action.
“When we are in relationships, and there is abuse, whether it is verbal, emotional or whatever, we should have a way of healing ourselves, and if we can move on, we move on,” she advised.
She further cautioned that waiting until a situation reaches its breaking point could lead to unwanted consequences.
McBrown’s message is a reminder that abuse should never be dismissed or normalised in a relationship. Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and valued, and seeking help or leaving an abusive situation can be an important step towards healing.
What do you think of McBrown’s decision to report her partner after the first physical assault?
