Nico Goon, a 2024 graduate of the Bishop Manogue Catholic High School in Reno NV, has died, his family announced. Details of Goon’s death are currently unavailable. A celebration of life is planned for January 11th at the Grace Church at 1220 Robb Drive in Reno. A scholarship fund is set to be established in Goon’s name. The Hauppauge Public School is mourning the loss of a beloved fourth grade teacher, Lara Damadeo. Damadeo, with the Bretton Woods Elementary School, has died after a 24 year career in Hauppauge.
