Speaking on her show on Onua TV, Iron Lady attacked the two for being unprofessional in their coverage of Professor Opoku Agyemang falling ill.
Maurice Ampaw, on his Wontumi TV show, accused the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) of scheming to ‘get rid’ of the Vice President after using her to gain power. Okatakyie Afrifa, without proof, alleged that the Veep suffered a stroke and attacked the NDC for neglecting her health, alleging their actions might lead to her death as happened to the late President, Professor John Atta Mills.
Iron Lady Yaa Titi dubbed both journalists as ’empty-headed’, alleging they were spreading propganda. She called for them to be dealt with to serve as a deterrent to others about spreading falsehood.
The Vice President, Professor Opoku Agyemang, recently fell ill. The Presidency, in a statement, said she was taken to the University of Ghana Medical Center for treatment and later, flown abroad for more specialist treatment.
Her ill-health has sparked a deluge of reactions, with critics of the government alleging a lack of transparency regarding her condition.
