Why Don’t You Marry Your Mother Then – Peeps React To Lilwin Saying He Will Divorce His Wife If His Mother Asks Him To

A few days ago, Ghanaian comic actor and musician, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, disclosed in a recent interview that he would divorce his wife if his mother asks him to.

According to Lilwin, no matter how much he loves his wife, he will always take his mother’s opinion if she ever asks him to divorce her. During the interview, Lilwin explained that his mother played a crucial role in his upbringing.

“I owe my success and life to my mother. If she ever tells me my wife is not good for me, I will trust her judgment,” Lilwin said.

Reacting to this, some people asked Lilwin to go ahead and marry his mother since he values her opinion more that his wife’s own.

Critics argue that marriage is a partnership built on mutual respect and trust between two individuals and should not be subject to external influences, even from family. Some have even alleged that he heeded his mother’s advice to divorce his first wife in order to marry his current spouse.

“Marriage is about two people; no one else should have the power to interfere so drastically,” one user commented.
