Police were called to an address at 135 Arthur Lane NW after receiving a 911 call around 8:44 a.m. Officers found a deceased female. Her death is being investigated as a homicide.
The deceased was identified as Karen Liner, a realtor with Bender Realty in Cleveland. Liner was a certified luxury home marketing specialist and seller representative specialist for Bender Realty. She’s been in the position for over four years.
Police are speaking to a person of interest in the death of Karen Liner, although the person has not been identified.

According to her realtor.com bio, Karen was married to Craig Liner, with whom she had two children, Asher and Ariana Liner. Craig works as a licensed pharmacist & patient care professional with CHI Health, a job he’s held for over a decade, according to LinkedIn. He was previously a clinical consulting pharmacist for Omnicare, and a Pharmacy Manager for RITE AID and CVS.

Craig attended Lee University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Science. He was in the same University and program with Karen, who also got her Biological Science degree from Lee University. Craig proceeded to Auburn University for a Doctor of Pharmacy, while his wife also holds a Bachelor of Science-Nursing from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Karen worked as a nurse for two decades before becoming a realtor. “I worked locally as a nurse for 20 years. After taking a few years off to be home with my family, I decided to pursue another passion of mine, becoming a real estate agent,” she said in her realtor.com bio.
Karen is being mourned following the tragic news of her death.
“Our hearts go out to the family of Karen Liner and the Bender Realty family! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during the coming days. She will be truly missed!” said Cleveland real estate firm, Keller Williams, with other tributes following suit.
