This proposal comes shortly after 2Baba publicly confirmed his romantic relationship with Osawaru, following his recent separation from his wife, Annie Idibia.
Addressing the rumours, 2Baba took to Instagram to clarify the situation, defending Osawaru against accusations of being a homewrecker and affirming his genuine affection for her.
He stated, “Hon. Natasha has been dragged and called all sorts of names. She is a young, brilliant, amazing woman and had nothing to do with what happened between me and Annie. Yes, I love her, and I want to marry her.”
The proposal has elicited mixed reactions online, with many people accusing 2Baba of being a terrible spouse. They accused him of maltreating his ex-partner, Annie Idibia and cheating on her multiple times.
Meanwhile it was recently reported that Annie Idibia is reportedly undergoing treatment at a rehabilitation centre following her separation from husband, legendary musician 2Baba.
Controversial Nigerian journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus revealed the news, stating that Annie is in a “very bad state” and receiving support from close friends, singer Tiwa Savage and media personality Toke Makinwa.
Korkus shared in a post: “Actress Annie Idibia is in a very bad state and allegedly in rehab. Insiders say it’s extremely bad, and the two people reportedly caring for her are singer Tiwa Savage and media personality Toke Makinwa… May God heal her.”
