Afrifa Mensah, speaking on his online streaming show For the Records, alleged that sources informed him of the Vice President’s ill health with details of what led to her recent trip abroad for medical treatment.

According to the former Angel FM presenter, the Vice President suffered a stroke and was rushed to the hospital where she was treated. Afrifa alleges she was then rushed out to attend an event to hide the fact that she was infirm.
The stress of her body caused her to suffer a second stroke, the NPP-aligned controversial presenter alleged, adding that the decision was made for her to travel abroad following her second attack.
Okatakyie criticized the ‘wicked’ NDC government for failing to protect the Vice President. He said the same negligence caused the death of Professor Mills and Amissah Arthur and called for the party to sit up this time to save the Veep’s life.
Ghana’s Vice President, Professor Opoku-Agyemang, fell ill last week and visited the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) for treatment, according to a statement released by the Presidency. Professor Agyemang, 73, has since been flown abroad for medical treatment. Despite Afrifa’s claims, the government has not officially revealed what, if any, illness the Vice President is currently battling.
