In a television interview, Ama Endorsed, who tragically passed away on Thursday, April 17, revealed that being a carpenter has taken quite the toll on her health.
Ama Endorsed, real name Comfort Esime Adzigbli, said she suffers from migraines, constant colds, back pain etc due to working in close proximity to wood and the use of heavy duty machinery to do her job.
“Physically, I’m always dealing with migraines and back pain. Because sometimes the weight [of carpentry materials] is heavy,” Ama Endorsed said. “The woods are heavy but I have to carry them, put them there, do this, do that… The machine work, I come back with cold, even though I use a mask and everything. And then the sounds of the machine, when I go for cutting and all that, it gives me headache.”
