A motorcycle rider in the community has been killed in a gruesome accident after his attempt to cross a railway line before an onrushing train completely ended in disaster.

Unfortunately for the motor rider, he could not beat the train to the punch and ended up being mangled to death.
The entire incident, which occurred around 5:30 p.m. in the evening of Monday, February 24th, 2025, was captured on video and shared on social media where it went viral and sparked conversations about motor vehicle safety.
In the video, the motor rider can be seen approaching the railway line when a train abruptly enters the frame from the left side.
The rider, who had already committed to crossing the rail line, appeared completely oblivious to the onrushing train and could not get out of the way in time.
Another video, taken after the accident, showed onlookers rushing to get a look at the gruesome aftermath of the crash.
Social media users, discussing the crash, pointed out the usual reckless actions of Ghanaian motor riders, who frequently flout all road traffic laws.
Others acknowledged the rider’s negligence yet called for more actions to be taken to protect people crossing rail tracks.
“Yes, the deceased rider may have been negligent, but let’s address the real issue here, why isn’t there a proper barrier to stop vehicles when a train is crossing? How many more lives need to be lost before basic safety measures are put in place?” one netizen queried.
