According to eyewitnesses, two men on a motorbike approached her under the guise of withdrawing money.

However, as she attempted to assist them, one of the men got off the bike, pulled out a gun, and demanded that she hand over all the cash in her possession.
Patricia, in an attempt to resist the robbers, struggled with them, prompting the gunman to shoot her twice before fleeing with mobile phones and GH¢10,000 in cash. The unfortunate incident has left residents in shock and fear, raising concerns over the increasing attacks on MoMo vendors.
Her body has since been deposited at the morgue, as authorities launch investigations to track down the culprits. The police are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist in the ongoing probe.
The family of Patricia are yet to come out and speak on the matter.
