Caldwell was the subject of an online manhunt after he was spotted in a viral video recorded by X user and Packers content creator, Alexander Basara, verbally berating a woman and repeatedly calling her the ‘c’ word, during the Sunday, January 12, 2025 game at Lincoln Financial Field in which Philly comfortably dispatched Green Bay out of the playoffs.
Basara was at the field with his fiancée, also a Packers fan and dressed in Packer paraphernalia. During the game, a verbal confrontation had kicked off between an older Packer fan and Basara’s fiancée, who said nothing back as the older man berated her with unconscionable words.
When Basara started filming, the older man – later identified by online sleuths as Ryan Caldwell of BCT Partners – was berating his fiancée and Basara himself, daring him to get physical.
As Basara and the older man argued over a development on the field, he implored him to stop attacking his fiancée.
“Don’t call her a d*mb c*nt,” Basara said, referencing their interactions prior to filming. Caldwell, however, responded by repeating the slur, “She’s an ugly, d*mb c*nt,” he said. To which Basara replied, “Cool, cool”, having managed to get the interaction on video.
Caldwell was not satisfied and sought to provoke a physical altercation. Repeating “cool, cool,” sarcastically back to Basara, he then said: “You gonna do anything? Shut the f*ck up. Yup. Turn around. Watch the Game. Yep,”
The enraged fan continued to mutter unintelligible words, while Basara wrapped up his filming. He shared the video to social media with the words: “What it’s like being a opposing fan in Philly. Unprovoked. Was the 3rd time he said this to my fiancée,”

He added on X: “Unprovoked, uncalled for. Packers twitter, help me out and find this guy…. this is not okay. I hate that my fiancé had this happen simply cheering for her team,”

Basara’s video quickly went viral on X, and has currently wracked up 20m views. Users generally condemned the unneeded aggression and behavior of the Packer fan, but some called out Basara for not coming to his fiancée’s aid.
“Shouting down your fiancé’s ear and you’re allowing that? Come on man slap the f*ck out that a** hole,” one very top rated comment said, prompting Basara to defend himself.
“He had his brother and another buddy with him. Plus all eagles fans would see is me getting physical with and old man and jump me,” he replied.
The manhunt
Social media, particularly X, quickly went into overdrive to identify the fan in the video as Basara had requested.
Within a short while, he had been identified as Ryan Caldwell, a business analyst at a firm known as BCT Partners.
An online bio for him reveals he has been working in Hospitality since 2002, initially as Operations manager at Plamondon Hospitality Partners and then as a General manager at Hersha Hospitality. Caldwell joined Marriott International in 2006 in various General Manager roles until 2020, when he left to take up a new position as Director of Hotel Operations and Operating General Manager SpringHill Suites at Cohenterprises. Caldwell graduated Frederick Community College in 2001, earning an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in General Studies. He then attended Towson University from 2001 to 2003, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electronic Media and Film.

X user were flabbergasted to discover Caldwell primarily worked in hospitality. “Hospitality?? U can’t make this sh*t up! 🤣” one user commented. Others seemed unhappy that Caldwell was being outed, with one commenter writing below the post identifying him: “Feel good doing this?”
BCT Partners reacts
BCT Partners, located at East Brunswick, New Jersey, is a “minority-owned management consulting firm that helps our clients solve complex social issues and accelerate equity,”. X users quickly started tweeting at the company, calling for consequences for Caldwell’s behavior.
“@bctpartners973 Can we get an update on the Ryan Caldwell investigation?” one user tweeted. “Dude is calling women “ugly, dumb c*nt” at football games. Is he a Business Analyst at BCTPartners? If so, hopefully not for long,”
Eventually, the company responded with a statement acknowledging being aware of the video and the conduct of their employee.
“BCT Partners denounces this type of behavior, and we take this matter extremely seriously. As an organization that has always stood for inclusivity, the conduct displayed was completely unacceptable and stands in direct opposition to our company values,” the statement said.
“We have already begun a full investigation as an internal personnel matter to determine what actions will be taken. We sincerely apologize to everyone affected by this behavior and remain committed to fostering a culture of respect for all,”
