Naa Pooley, a staunch fan of one of Ghana’s biggest football teams, Asante Kotoko, passed away a few days ago after he was st@bbed to death during match against their neighbouring team, Nsoatreman.
Francis Yaw Frimpong, better known as Pooley, lost his life following a heated argument with an unidentified man during the game, according to a statement from Nsoatreman.
Reacting to Pooley’s death, a die-hard fan of Accra Hearts of Oak, who was also a chapter nine driver, has made it wild claim that Nana Pooley died an avoidable death. He explained that, prior to his death, Pooley had received several warnings not to come to Nsoatre but he failed to head to the advice.
He added that his death could have been easily prevented if he had stayed away from the Ghana Premier League which took place at Nsoateman on Sunday, 2nd February 2025.
Meanwhile, Pooley’s widow is inconsolable as she wonders how she is going to cater for their six children all on her own.
