During a TikTok Live session, she opened up about the challenges her family has faced due to widespread assumptions about her son.
Speaking passionately, she revealed that Akonoba was born with feminine features, a fact that has led many to make incorrect assumptions about him.
“People judge my son based on his appearance, but I want to make it clear: my son is not gay. He was born with feminine features and because of that people always assumed he was gay.” she firmly stated.
The mother expressed her frustration with how society is quick to label individuals without understanding their personal lives or identities. She emphasised that Akonoba’s physical traits are simply part of who he is and should not define his character or sexuality.
“It’s hurtful to see how people assume things without any basis. My son is a wonderful human being, and he deserves respect just like everyone else. He only channelled his inner feminine traits to create content on TikTok.” she added during the live session.
Her comments come after it was alleged by another TikTok star his marriage was fake and that he did it to hide the fact that he was gay.
