2Baba made a U-turn in a new post on his verified social media pages, stating, “My account has been hacked.” He expressed his frustration over the confusion caused by the false divorce post and pleaded with fans and followers to disregard the misinformation.
The earlier posts, which had sent shockwaves through social media, suggested that the couple, who have been married for over a decade, were ending their relationship. However, in his latest update, 2Baba reassured fans that his marriage to Annie Idibia remains intact.
He went on to apologise for the distress the hacked post may have caused, adding, “Please don’t worry. I’m working hard to fix this issue and retrieve my account.”
At the time of writing this article, another post has been shared and this time round it was a video confirmation of his divorce to his wife.
This whole brouhaha has caused a confusion online with many people wondering if he is making the contradictory posts to garner attention.
