The young man’s allegations are based on a video from two years ago in which one lady took to TikTok to express her disappointment in Kofi Adoma. The video reportedly surfaced during a dispute between the Ashanti and Dormaa people, where Kofi’s remarks were seen as biased and disrespectful to the Dormaa community.
According to the accuser, tensions had been brewing since the interview, with some members of the Dormaa youth allegedly vowing to “teach Kofi Adoma a lesson” for what they perceived as unfair representation of their views during the conflict.
While these claims remain unverified,social media users have expressed mixed reactions, with some sympathising with Kofi Adoma and condemning any premeditated actions against him, while others believe his past comments may have contributed to the alleged hostility.
One commenter stated, “Even if he said something wrong, it doesn’t justify any planned retaliation. We need to settle matters peacefully, not through confrontation.” Another added, “Journalists must learn to stay neutral. Words can be powerful, especially when addressing community issues.”
