KOD, a renowned fashion entrepreneur, broadcaster, and cultural ambassador, has been appointed Presidential Adviser on Diaspora Affairs. With his vast experience in connecting Ghana with its global diaspora, his role will focus on strengthening international ties, attracting investment, and enhancing cultural collaboration.
Meanwhile, Abeiku Santana, a respected media personality with a deep passion for tourism, has been named Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority. His appointment reflects President Mahama’s vision of boosting Ghana’s tourism sector, increasing global visitor engagement, and positioning the country as a leading travel destination.
These strategic appointments reinforce the government’s efforts to bridge cultural gaps, drive economic growth, and promote Ghana’s rich heritage on the global stage.
Abeiku Santana was very instrumental during the 2024 general elections. He used all his platforms to campaign heavily for John Mahama. As a result, his new appointment doesn’t come as a big surprise especially considering all the hard work he put in place in ensuring NDC won the elections.
Perhaps, this is John Mahama’s way of appreciating and rewarding his efforts.
