Agyapong visited the traders at Adum Railways after his return to Ghana following a recent trip abroad.
The former MP, accompanied by the Member of Parliament for the area, arrived at the market on Saturday to loud chanting and fanfare as the traders expressed enthusiasm for his presence.
Agyapong spoke to traders prior to his donation, noting the reason for his visit. He began by expressing thanks to the regional minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, for what he has done in helping the traders so far.
The 2024 NPP Presidential aspirant noted that they all had their part to play in helping with the reconstruction of the market.
Agyapong announced a donation of Ghc 100,000 in conjunction with a donation of 200 streetlights, which are intended to light up the Railways area and its surrounding environs.
Agyapong entrusted the donations to the MP, to ensure it is properly disbursed and goes to its intended purposes.
