Butler’s legal team called the new request for additional funds unnecessary, pointing to the fact that with two of their children preparing for school enrollment— Rylee entering kindergarten and Brayan starting preschool— there is no legitimate need for a nanny at such an expense. His attorneys also suggested appointing a guardian to audit how she spends the funds he already gives her.
“If Mother is claiming that she cannot afford a nanny despite the child support she receives (which exceeds even the maximum that these children possibly could need), Father is entitled to an accounting of Mother’s use of the funds and, potentially, for the appointment of a guardian ad litem to oversee the expenditures,’ the motion states.
Nowak’s legal representation has pushed back against Butler’s claims and have said they will respond in their own legal filing.
