McGhee, 35, who doubles as an assistant football coach at Middletown North, has been slapped with two charges of s*xual assault by supervisor of a victim 16/17 years old and endangering s*xual conduct with child by caretaker, according to records from the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office.
McGhee has been working as a high school head coach for the past twelve years and received a contract from the Middletown Board of Education in January 2014. He took over as head coach of the Middletown North High School girls basketball team – the Lady Lions – seven years ago and was credited with turning the team’s fortunes around.

“When Justin McGhee took over the Middletown North program. They were that other Middletown High School,” wrote Nothing But Skills. “These days Middletown North has earned the respect of everyone in the Shore Conference. That’s because they play a style all basketball fans like. Coaches respect the way they have mastered team basketball and unselfish play,”
McGhee also serves as a speed and strength coach at Parisi Speed School in Manasquan, according to his LinkedIn page. He graduated Montclair State University with a degree in Exercise Science, Healthy and Physical Education/Fitness in 2012 and proceeded to the University of Scranton for a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Supervision, graduating in 2016.
McGhee is reportedly married with kids. At the moment, the Middletown Township Public Schools District is yet to react to news of their coach’s arrest.
