It will take 15 years to fix Ghana’s broken economy – Mahama’s aide
An Aide to the former President of Ghana, Joyce Bawa Mogtari has indicated that with the extent to which the economy of Ghana has been destroyed by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government, it will take 15 years to rebuild.
Joyce Bawa Mogtari is supporting former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama who is seeking to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the third time and subsequently seek to lead the country for the second time.
If the former President wins the election in 2024, he will be in power for four years and will make way for another leader to govern Ghana.
The former President has said that he has the Midas touch in building the Ghana everyone wants in four years when he takes over in 2025.
But his aide Joyce Bawa Mogtari after reading the Auditor General’s report believes that the country’s economy needs 15 straight years of a visionary leader to fix the country’s economy.
“Wait a second! Have we all read the Auditor-General’s report? If you take your time to read that report you will focus more on Building the Ghana we want! Make no mistake @NAkufoAddo has totally destroyed our economy and it will take 15 years to fix it!” her tweet read.
