The photos, which emerged from the courtroom, showed a man people have tagged as Anas standing alongside the plaintiff’s legal counsel.
The position of the person has led to speculation that he’s either Anas or somebody standing in for him.
The Ghanaian investigative journalist recently won a landmark judgement against Kennedy Agyapong in New Jersey.
Anas sued the NPP politician for defamation for comments he passed about him, alleging he is a thief and a criminal and complicit in the murder of Ahmed Suale.
Following a lengthy legal battle, Anas was awarded $18m in damages.
A photo taken from the courtroom has left Ghanaians convinced that they’ve found Anas.

Meanwhile, amidst debate over Anas’ identity, a second photo emerged, also alleged to be him.
The conversation continues with opinions ranging from multiple angles. While some netizens are convinced the man is Anas, others claim someone is standing in for him, with a third contingent claiming it is Anas but probably wearing a mask.
