“I don’t know much about her, and I’m not sure what role she has played in the tourism sector,” she admitted. “Congratulations to her ,we will all support her to succeed. But I was disappointed because I expected Abeiku Santana to head that sector.”
According to MC Yaa Yeboah, industry players widely recognize Abeiku Santana’s contributions to Ghana’s tourism industry. His dedication to the sector earned him a significant reputation, especially for promoting domestic tourism and making Ghana a key destination for travelers.
Abeiku Santana is the CEO and founder of Kaya Tours Ghana Limited, where he has worked tirelessly to boost both local and international tourism. His passion for the sector led to his appointment as Ghana’s Tourism Ambassador in 2017, a role that saw him champion numerous initiatives and work closely with former CEO Akwasi Agyeman to achieve notable tourism milestones.
With his extensive experience and track record in the tourism industry, it’s no wonder that many, including MC Yaa Yeboah, were rooting for him to lead the Ghana Tourism Authority.
“Abeiku was someone we were all rooting for, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen,” she added.
