In an official statement from his Director of Communications, Nwoko dismissed the reports as baseless and a product of malicious speculation.

The statement clarified that the billionaire politician is currently focused on his national assignment and has no time for distractions. It also debunked claims that he made statements about Tuface and polygamy, describing them as completely untrue.
“As a public figure, and with his wife also being an actress, it is not unusual for bloggers seeking attention to fabricate such stories. However, Senator Nwoko is focused on delivering on his political mandate,” the statement read.
This was after it was alleged that Ned Nwoko, who is married to actress Regina Daniels, is responsible for the pregnancy of Chika Ike.
Regina Daniels deactivating her IG account further fuelled the drama with many people coming up with conspiracy theories that she was unhappy about the fact that he was going to marry another wife.
Ned who already has six wives however decided to address the issue by stating emphatically that he has no plans of adding a seventh wife.
