Fordjour made an appearance on Lawson TV where he clarified the extent of his recent illnesses and appealed once again for funds to tackle the alleged infirmity.

Under questioning from the host over what sickness he has, as multiple blogs have reported different illnesses, including diabetes and kidney disease, Dr UN claimed to have both.
The infamous awards organiser denied undergoing dialysis and said he had kidney stones that have been bothering him for a while, revealing he’s been using a catheter for years, including on the night when he became a household name in Ghana when he hosted his UN awards.
He begged for funds to be able to undergo a kidney transplant to regain his health.
Fordjour made headlines in Ghana in 2020 when he threw a UN Global Excellence Awards scheme that honoured numerous top Ghanaian celebrities, including Sarkodie, D-Black, Berla Mundi, and others. The award was later found to be a figment of his imagination and not sanctioned by the UN, leading to major embarrassment for the Ghanaian artists involved.
