The chart for March 2025, compiled by Charts Ghana on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that Stonebwoy was the 15th most streamed Ghanaian artist on YouTube for the month under review, lower than the legendary Daddy Lumba, who finished 11th.
Stonebwoy’s music on YouTube received 1.98m streams in the month under review, more than a million views less than Daddy Lumba’s, which garnered over 3m streams.
Close Shatta aide and online personality, Shadrack Amonoo Crabbe, mocked Stonebwoy over the numbers. Sharing the chart, he wondered why a musician branding himself as ‘Ghana’s biggest export’ would be receiving less streams than a ‘1984’ musician, Daddy Lumba.
“1984 Music Career Daddy Lumba is Getting More Streams Than “Ghana’s Biggest Export” in 2025 .. Erghhh!!” Crabe tweeted.
The chart showed that the Ghanaian-American singer-songwriter, Moliy, was the most streamed Ghanaian artist on YouTube in March with 13.7million streams, followed by Jay Bahd with 10.2millions streams. Amaarae placed third with 8.99million streams, followed by Black Sheriff in 4th with 7.48million streams. King Promise rounds out the top five with 5.43million streams.
Shatta Wale, whose fan mocked Stonebwoy for his 15th placed finish, was the 6th most listened to Ghanaian artist on YouTube in the month under review, receiving 5.12 million views.
