He boldly stated, “Whatever they are going to do, if it demands that they should ignore what NPP have done, they should ignore it and start their own.” Lutterodt made it clear that the minister should not be weighed down by any unfinished business from the past administration. Instead, he emphasized the importance of forging ahead with new plans and tackling issues that align with her own vision.
Lutterodt suggested that if certain projects from the past government were not practical to continue, the minister should not feel obligated to pursue them. “If it is not practicable to them, they shouldn’t hear the noise from us to do it.
While his comments were met with some disagreement from fellow panel members, Lutterodt remained firm in his stance. He believed that the new minister should not let the pressure of continuing previous government projects hold her back. Instead, she should focus on starting fresh and pursuing new, achievable goals without being burdened by the past.
