Police investigators arrested a man who is accused of abusing his two daughters s3xually and forcing them to become his wives without their mother’s knowledge or consent.
One of the suspect’s victims spoke forward, leading to his arrest; he was then brought before the judge, who granted him bail.
This incident takes place at the same time as the Ministry of Health’s worries about the nation’s growing number of child abuse cases, many of which, according to reports, go unreported.
The Kenyan public took to social media to express their outrage and call on the government to take action against child abusers, demanding that perpetrators be punished to the fullest extent of the law.
Many expressed disappointment that the suspect was released on bail, fearing that he may continue to abuse his victims if not dealt with properly.
According to the Ministry of Health, there may be more instances of child abuse than have been reported because many victims are afraid or ashamed to come forward.
The government must act appropriately to solve this problem and guarantee the welfare and safety of children in the nation.
