The cause of this fire outbreak has been revealed. According to eye witnesses at the scene, the fire started because of an electrical problem during recent power outages (dumsor).

At the time the fire broke in the actress’ house, she wasn’t at home. It is believed that she had traveled for a movie role outside Ghana.
A video showing the fire went viral. In the video, the person filming asks the Ghana National Fire Service to come quickly and stop the flames.
