Speaking at a recent event, Serwaa Amihere opened up about how some choices she made when she was young came to back to bite her in the face.

“There are so many young ones here. Please, be extremely careful and picky about the decisions you make while you’re young. I was depressed and couldn’t meet or speak to anyone. I didn’t want to step out without covering my face because of what happened to me. Today, I have learnt a lot and I am sharing this with you so that you don’t make the same mistakes I did” she advised.
Serwaa’s advice comes in the wake of her brouhaha involving the non-consensual sharing of an intimate video featuring her and Henry Amponsah, known as Henry Fitz.
The incident led to significant emotional distress and legal battles amidst trolling online. In April 2024, she filed a lawsuit against Henry Fitz and two others for the unauthorized distribution of the video.
Reflecting on the incident, Serwaa expressed the emotional toll it took on her, stating, “Be extremely careful and picky about the decisions you make while you’re young because years later, they’ll come back and bite you really hard in the face. That’s exactly what happened to me last year.”
