In a self-recorded video, a Ga lady called on Oko Vanderpuije to reclaim the Katamanto lands, that they belong to the Ga people, not the traders who have shown nothing but disrespect. Steve Orloff, a CBS Sports cameraman who has captured some of the most iconic moments in sports history, has died following a battle with lung cancer. He was 71. Orloff, of Sandwich MA, died on Saturday, December 28th, 2024, according to an obituary available online. CBS sports announcer Jim Nantz announced the tragic news while calling the Broncos vs Chiefs NFL game on Sunday, January 5. Orloff’s death occurred following a gruelling battle with cancer. Lorenzo Buffa, a popular Tiktoker with over 1.2m followers has died via suicide, leaving behind an explosive note blaming his on-again, off-again ex, Ryan St Pierre. An Associate Teaching Professor of Accountancy at the Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Eric Marinich, has died. Marinich passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025. He was 49. A High School wrestling star, Brynn Courville of Ronan, has died, the wrestling community in Montana has announced. Courville, of Ronan, died in a car accident, the Montana Girls High School Wrestling page wrote. They called for prayers for the Courville family and mourned the lost of a star too soon. A shooting at the Mall of Georgia Saturday left one person, high school sophomore Joel Bradford injured, and an 18-year-old arrested for the shooting. Joel Bradford, 15, of Loganville, a football standout for Grayson High School, was the sole victim of the shooting and is currently injured and receiving treatment in hospital. Shortly before 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, gunfire was heard at the Mall of Georgia. An officer working security heard the ruckus and ran toward the scene.
