Popular Ghanaian actress Priscilla Opoku Agyemang, popularly known as Ahuofe Patri, has revealed she has been a victim of the ‘s*x for role’ epidemic in the Ghanaian movie industry.

Patri in a recent interview on Max TV revealed that a Movie producer asked her for s*x before casting her in a show, which she refused to do.

The former ‘Boys Kasa’ actress said she was dating at the time and felt no inclination to betray her boyfriend, leading her to reject the advances.
She said: “I had a boyfriend I was deeply in love with, and I couldn’t imagine compromising myself with another man. The producer became angry when I rejected his request,”
Patri added that years later, after succeeding on her own, she met the producer again and he apparently did not even remember her.
Commenting further, the actress signalled agreement with the statement that s*x for roles is ubiquitous in the industry.
